Pharmaceutics is the branch of pharmacy that deals with the process of formulation of a new chemical entity or old drugs into suitable dosage forms to be employed safely and effectively to the patients. It includes Pharmaceutical formulation, Pharmaceutical manufacturing,Dispensing pharmacy,Physical pharmacy, Pharmaceutical microbiology, Pharmaceutical biotechnology,Pharmaceutical jurisprudence, etc. The Pharmaceutics laboratories at Pannai College of Pharmacy are well-equipped and established with various instruments such as horizontal laminar airflow, tablet coating, polishing machine, disintegration apparatus,capsule filling machine, ampoule and vial washing machine, ball mill, autoclave, among others.In Pharmaceutics laboratories, students are exposed to have the training to prepare various dosage forms like powders, liquid orals, semi-solids, dental products, cosmetics and sterile dosage forms.The laboratories under the department of pharmaceutics provide practical training to the students in the field of formulation and dispensing by learned and well-renowned faculty members.
