Department of Pharmacology

Pharmacology is a key branch of science that deals primarily with the study of drugs and their actions on living systems. The major branches of Pharmacology include Pharmacodynamics and Pharmacokinetics, among others. The Department of Pharmacology at the Pannai College of Pharmacy maintains separate and spacious labs that include Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab and Pharmacology Lab for conducting practicals related to Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology. The computer-assisted learning (CAL) facility is available in the Department of Pharmacology to teach Experimental Pharmacology. The Department of Pharmacology actively participates in imparting quality teaching with recent advances in Pharmacology as per the curriculum. A number of books related to Pharmacology are available in the library that supports the quality teaching-learning process. Renowned and recognized faculty members in the Department of Pharmacology train the students to delve into the pharmacology curriculum in greater depth to provide a much-needed quality teaching-learning environment to the students.
